ASL Air Freight carried out the transport of the entire NOSPR instrumentarium to the Japanese island of Narita on behalf of a Dutch partner.
Challenge
The orchestra was embarking on a tour of Japan, so the cargo had to depart on the day indicated on a PLL LOT flight from Warsaw. It was necessary to act quickly and, due to the very specific dimensions and shape of the packages, to agree with the handling agent on the loading method and date of packing onto airline pallets. At the request of the client, ASL’s forwarding agents supervised the entire procedure, which required special permits to enter the loading area and permission to photograph.
Solution
Due to ASL’s long-standing cooperation with PLL LOT and the handliga agent, the whole complicated transport process was a complete success: The National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra went on tour with all its instruments at the agreed time. 🙂
